F.A.Q on Admissions

You will find answers to our most frequently asked questions below.

We provide day education, education with weekly boarding and full boarding for 38 or 52 weeks per year. In addition we may be able to offer short term breaks for the pupils who are currently on our roll for an additional 4 weeks per year.

Our admission process does not take very long. In most cases, the time consuming part of the process is getting the funding for the placement from the Local Authority as authorities need to ensure the school can meet the needs of the child.

All our pupils’ fees are paid by the Local Authority in which the pupils’ parents/guardians reside. Parents need to make contact with their Local Authority in the first instance with regards to funding. All of our pupils have a statement of special educational needs. Some of our pupils are Looked After Children. It is possible for parents to pay for fees directly. If this is something you would like to explore, please contact us

The only way to find out is to come for a visit and have conversations with staff here at the school. Once the Local Authority have approached us to confirm their involvement, you can come for an informal visit on your own or with your child.

Do contact us if you have any questions, if we do not have the answers or are not in a position to give you advice, we will give you the contact details of parents who have had to deal with similar challenges.
