TESCO supports our new Forest School Club
In March 2016 Lucy Reynolds (Deputy Care Manager) approached Deborah Wilcox (Head of Health and Safety & Compliance) with the idea of starting a Forest School Club to promote holistic development and foster resilient and confident learning. As a qualified Forest School Leader, Lucy needed £450 to start the group.
Deborah approached Tesco with this idea, and store manager James Fawbert and his wonderful team quickly set about organising three events, the first being a chocolate fountain, then a raffle of Finest products and thirdly, fresh fruit kebabs served at Thornbury Carnival.
The store made £452 and James kindly visited the school on Thursday 21st July to present Nico with a cheque for the school for this amount.
A massive thank you from all at the Sheiling School for supporting this exciting new club, we really appreciate it.
