Sheiling School is once again awarded the Five Star Food Hygiene Rating by the Environmental Health

It is always a joy to eat a delicious  meal prepared in one of our three kitchens by our talented and qualified cooks.

Using only the finest organic produce, with seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables mostly from our bio dynamic land, the food is wholesome, nutritious and mouth-wateringly good!

For yet another year the Environmental Health has awarded the Sheiling School the highest rating of five stars.

Deborah Wilcox,Head of Resource and Health & Safety, said “Businesses have to excel in three areas to achieve such a high accolade:

• How hygienically the food is handled – how it is prepared, cooked, re-heated, cooled and stored and temperatures controlled.
• The condition of the structure of the buildings – the cleanliness, layout, lighting, ventilation and other facilities.
• How the kitchens are managed and the stringent measures in place to make sure food is safe.”

We have a fantastic catering team at the school and we are extremely pleased that the Environmental Health Officer was so impressed and confident that we fully meet the highest standards and commented on how well the school is run.
