SHEILING SCHOOL CHRISTMAS MARKET 2018
Our annual Christmas Market takes place on Saturday 8th December from 12pm – 4pm. Entry is free.
All our traditional favourite Sheiling School stalls will be here, including weavery and handwork, pottery, christmas cards and decorations made by our pupils. A new addition this year will be a stall selling gifts made by young people in our 6th Form, including vegan mince pies, jams and chutney, coasters, cookies, Christmas tree decorations and non-alcoholic mulled wine. We will be joined by friends and colleagues from The Hatch who will be selling gifts made by members of their community.
Additionally this year we’re delighted to welcome a number of stalls run by members of the wider Thornbury community. There will be stalls selling stained glass, enamel panels & unique silver jewelry, willow work, honey & beeswax products, home-made chocolates, woollen goods, bead & wire artwork and ceramics as well as Weleda and Neil’s Yard products.
Once you’ve finished your Christmas shopping you can put your feet up in our Winter Cafe, or enjoy a pizza from our wood fired pizza oven, followed by fresh home-made waffles.
There are an array of activities to enjoy including silk marbling, tombola, face painting, candle dipping, gingerbread decorating and crown making.
We’ll also be holding our Christmas Auction and Raffle (tickets available on the day) with some amazing prizes including an iPad, Dinner for Two at Thornbury Castle and a Christmas Hamper.
Parking is provided at the Castle School (next door) and we regret that we cannot allow dogs (except guide dogs).
We look forward to seeing you there!
