As part of Class 9’s Animal Care lesson, Dylan has been taking part in the national ‘Big Garden Birdwatch’ organised annually by the RSPB.

Dylan has taken great care in creating a safe and inviting environment for the birds to feed and rest in, including regularly keeping the food source topped up during the cold winter days to help keep the birds healthy. He has identified many exciting species such as goldfinches and woodpeckers, and plans to continue feeding and caring for the wild birds through the winter and into the spring.

Dylan has collected information on the species that he has observed and sent this data off to the RSPB. You can see what birds Dylan has logged on the charts below.
