From what I could observe and was told during this visit, in my professional opinion, the young people living in Halliers are being effectively safeguarded and protected from harm.

I feel that the home is very good at recognising and promoting issues of equality and diversity.

In my professional view, the home is well organised and managed to a high standard and affords an excellent standard of care and support to the young people living there.

The staff team have the necessary skills, experience and competencies to meet the needs of the young people and enable the home to achieve its aims and objectives.

The staff I speak to at each of my visits are supportive of the home’s management and ethos.

The management style is open and inclusive with sound communication between the care staff teams and other teams and services within the Sheiling campus.
