Lloyds Banking Group Volunteering Day

On Thursday 27th July a group of 7 volunteers from Lloyds Banking Group joined us for a day of gardening around our Sensory Garden and 6th form block.

After a coffee and a brief introduction to the School by our Site Manager Paul, the volunteers adorned their wellies and gloves. With trowels in hand they set about tackling the weeds and shrubs that had taken over areas of our gardens.

Assisted by our Gardener, Richard, and members of the Resource team the volunteers were clearing pathways and opening up access ways to the gardens on what was a glorious summer’s day.

The volunteers were met by our CEO Nico Sialelli and thanked for their efforts and help.

An enriching and rewarding day was had by all.
