Fundraising and Media Officer

We are recruiting for a Fundraising and Media Officer to join us at Sheiling School, to develop existing systems and processes and in response to the Covid-19 pandemic using digital and online platforms to build on best practice.

Your role will include:

  • Assisting the CEO to develop a Fundraising strategy for the School and a plan for its practical application
  • Coordinating the School’s PR and marketing activity through the School’s website and social media accounts
  • Researching, setting up, developing and maintaining effective software systems for the School

  • You will need to demonstrate a ‘can do’ and proactive attitude and be responsive to the changing needs and requirements of the School, in order to help develop the correct tools for delivery of quality services and fundraising/marketing activities.
  • Candidates must have excellent relationship building and communication skills, have a relevant qualification and a thorough practical understanding of fundraising, communication on social media and IT/software systems.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience of in a charity, a school or both.

 

£12,726 to £15,554 per annum – dependant upon relevant experience and qualifications

21 hours per week
