The school welcomes volunteer and gap year workers who are seeking an experience of living and working with young people with special educational needs.
 |
- In their work with the pupils young volunteers are able to actively participate in care, education, arts and crafts.
- Some volunteer workers go on to make a profession in curative education, for which experience at our School is an excellent foundation
- All volunteer workers complete an induction process after 6 weeks.
- All volunteer workers take part in our foundation training course.
|
|
- All volunteers become active team members in both education and care.
- Most young volunteers will have developed a wide range of personal skills after working with our pupils.
- Life at the School can be extremely rewarding.
- Young volunteers often maintain an interest in our pupils for many years after leaving.
Please note that good everyday English is required. See full text for more details.
