NEW: Work Opportunities

The school welcomes volunteer and gap year workers who are seeking an experience of living and working with young people with special educational needs.

• In their work with the pupils young volunteers are able to actively participate in care, education, arts and crafts.
  
  
• Some volunteer workers go on to make a profession in curative education, for which experience at our School is an excellent foundation
  
  
• All volunteer workers complete an induction process after 6 weeks.
  
  
• All volunteer workers take part in our foundation training course.
  

• All volunteers become active team members in both education and care.
  
  
• Most young volunteers will have developed a wide range of personal skills after working with our pupils.
  
  
• Life at the School can be extremely rewarding. 
  
  
• Young volunteers often maintain an interest in our pupils for many years after leaving.
